At IAS Medical we are dedicated to the safe and comfortable transport of our patients between countries, cities, hospitals and homes whilst providing the highest standard of comfort and care for the journey.
As one of the largest medical air brokers within the EU, the IAS medical team has around the clock access to a diverse fleet of aircraft and air ambulances especially equipped with essential medical equipment and supplies.
Each air ambulance aircraft is fully certified and staffed with highly trained experienced air medical personnel. For more complicated air repatriation additional specialist equipment and medical staff can be arranged depending on the patient’s requirements.
Clinical assessment by the doctor in charge of the patient will determine what is required in terms of specialist equipment for the safe repatriation of the patient. Our medical staff will require medical notes (and confirmation that the patient is fit to fly) from the patient’s doctor before we can make any recommendations in terms of medical staff and aircraft type.
To ensure a seamless door to door service IAS Medical also provides ground ambulance transportation for its air ambulance service.
