Air Ambulance resuces OAP after stroke

The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called out to the Forest estate in Melksham after an elderly woman suffered a suspected stroke.

The woman, thought to be in her 70s, had collapsed in front of her husband at their home on Sunday afternoon at around 2.30pm.

The helicopter landed in a field near to the house and airlifted the woman to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
