Man with head injury in Fakenham taken to hospital by Air Ambulance

Date: 28-Jun-2010

Ambulance crews were joined by two Air Ambulance paramedic teams after the man fell to the pavement in Fakenham town's busy Market Place.

The land ambulance crew requested the support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance when they found the casualty unconscious but breathing and with a severe head wound.

The Anglia One Air Ambulance landed close to the town centre on some derelict land.

Because the man required anaesthetic they called out Anglia Two, the Air Ambulance which usually serves Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire because it had a volunteer doctor from emergency medical charity Magpas on board.
