Teenager cycles from Forest Row to Amsterdam in support of Air Ambulance.

Luke Vater, of Lewes Road, Forest Row, will cycle to Amsterdam and back with two friends in support of the Sussex Air Ambulance.

The 17-year-old was air lifted to hospital with multiple injuries after being knocked off his motorbike in October last year.

Luke bravely agreed to be waxed at his birthday party on Saturday, which helped to raise £100 for his Air Ambulance charity.

He will be joined by close friends Lewis Oliver, 17, and Gege Willink, 16, as they set off for the 600-mile round trip on Tuesday.
