Repatriation by Air Ambulance from Vietnam for 27 year old Irish woman

The young Dublin woman, was on her way to Ireland from a backpacking trip in New Zealand via Vietnam last October when she contracted a new strain of encephalitis.

After suffering a stroke, she was rushed to hospital, where she received 24-hour nursing care at a cost of €1,700 a day, until the 27th December when her repatriation took place.

The family are extremely grateful to HSE Repatriation Team and all those who helped the repatriation itself.
