IAS Medical Air Ambulance Medical Staff
IAS Medical utilises a wide variety of qualified and experienced medical staff and especially adapted air ambulance aircraft.
The medical staff have experience of transporting patients by air, with training in Medical Evacuation (MEDIVAC), Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC) or both.
On request IAS Medical can arrange for a doctor, paramedic or nurse to accompany the patient. IAS Medical will provide the level of care depending on the attending doctors recommendations.
IAS Medical offer 4 levels of medical care:
LEVEL I: one ICU-trained Registered Nurse.
LEVEL II: A specially trained Doctor and an ICU-trained Registered Nurse
LEVEL III: A specially trained Doctor and two ICU-trained Registered Nurses
LEVEL IV: For complicated cases, a specialist doctor and additional experts will accompany the patient.
