Abu Dhabi sends Air Ambulance to assist with Seychelles bus accident victims

On Saturday evening, two children in the intensive care unit of Victoria hospital were identified as needing urgent medical treatment, they were flown out to a specialized medical center in the region at the weekend.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi sent an Air Ambulance and doctor to the Seychelles airport.

The plane left an hour later and transported the children to Abu Dhabi where they were taken by Air Ambulance to the Sheikh Khalifa Medical Centre.

President James Michel has thanked the UAE for its immediate assistance.

"We are deeply grateful to the President and the people of the United Arab Emirates for their concern for the injured children.  This gesture of support and readiness to aid in a moment of medical urgency is greatly appreciated," said President Michel.
